Managing Products

Products are managed in the Products section of the Rewards Program Management - or under the Products tab of Rewards Program Management

Creating and updating a Product

Creating a product is done by clicking on "Add Product" within the products section. To update a product, click on the name of the product in the list.

Product Attributes

  • Name - the name of the product as is displayed to the points redeemer.
  • Description - the description shown to the points redeemer.
  • Image - primary image of the product shown to the points redeemer.
  • Sku (stock keeping unit) - populate this if you need to track products by a stock keeping unit code.
  • Price - the number of rewards points needed to redeem the product.
  • Stock - the quantity of the product available
  • Available on - the date the product will be available to points redeemers. If left blank then the product is immediately available.
  • Discontinue on - the date the product will be unavailable to points redeemers. If left blank then the product will always be available.
  • Promoted - if selected the product will be displayed prominently in the rewards program.
  • Track inventory - uncheck this if you do not wish to track inventory
  • Backorderable - check this if you want points redeemers to be able to purchase the product even if you do not have sufficient inventory.
  • Allowed Groups - specify groups here if you only want certain groups to have access to a product - and all of its variants.
  • Restricted Groups - specify groups here if you do not want specific groups to have access to a product - and all of its variants

Deleting Products

Click on the ellipses in the products list to delete a specific product.
